The United Baptist Church, an icon in Laconia is in dire need of restoration.  A conditions assessment was completed and the work needed to preserve this magnificent example of 19th century architecture for generations to come will take 8-10 years and an estimated $5.3 million.   That certainly seems a bit overwhelming, but The NH Preservation Alliance included the church on it's annual list of Seven to Save.   (You can read more about that on the 'Listed on Seven to Save' page.)  Being included on this list enables us to attract more attention and financial resources (grants, fundraisers, etc.) towards our goal.
